Lesson 14 – BiWeekly Experiential Exercise 07
This week, identify something in nature which attracts you and then talk about how this aspect of nature relates to you and what you can learn from it. For example, an older adult struggling with feelings of worthlessness may develop greater self-respect after reflecting on how the older trees in a forest provide shelter for birds and shade for younger plants. The metaphor acts as a lesson that opens up a discussion that provides deeper insight into their important role at this stage in their life.
If this seems like a difficult, start with identifying your spirit animal. What do you like about that particular animal and how does it represent parts of who you are?
Use this journal to reflect on your thoughts.
