For this assignment, you will create your own template for APA student papers that you can use for future assignments.
Review the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (listed under required texts in the Syllabus).
Review the APA’s “Student Paper Setup Guide” for step-by-step instructions.
Review this assignment’s grading criteria (below) and use it as a guide/checklist when creating your template.
Using these resources, create your personalized APA 7th Ed student paper template that you can easily use for future assignments in all your courses. Please do not include an abstract for this assignment. Your template should adhere to the grading criteria provided. Complete and submit to this week’s upload box.
Grading Criteria:
General (6 points each, 30 points)
Entire document is double-spaced.
Entire document uses 1” margins.
Entire document uses the same approved font and font size.
Page numbers are in the same font as the document in the upper right header.
Submitted in .DOC or .DOCX format.
Title Page (6 points each, 54 points)
Title present “APA 7th Edition Student Template” placed 3-4 lines from the top and bolded.
One blank line between the title and the other lines on the title page.
Name present using format your First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name (e.g., Jon Q. Doe)
Affiliation line present and correct (College of Nursing and Health Sciences, United States University)
Course number and name present and correct (Course Number: Course Name)
Instructor’s name is present and correct.
Due date present.
All elements are center justified (except page number).
Page break used between title page and first page of body.
Body of Paper (6 points each, 24 points)
Repeat the paper title at the top of the first page and put it in bold.

Includes examples of properly formatted section headings (one example of each level of headings, levels 1-5).
